Italian journalist and Vatican expert Marco Tosatti has reported that Pope Francis has formed a top-secret commission tasked with implementing a new kind of “mass” that is acceptable to Catholics, Lutherans and Anglicans.
The commission consists of representatives from all three denominations, all bound to secrecy.
The journalist, who is well known in Italy for his accurate reporting of all things happening in the Vatican, has said that while this news is merely a “rumor” at this point, his “sources are usually good.”
According to his sources, the commission is finding little difficulty in finding common ground in the “liturgy of the word”. Tosatti reports: “After the confession of sins, asking for forgiveness, and reciting the Gloria, there would be the readings and the Gospel.”
He also said that the commission is allegedly studying the problem of the Creed. Protestant churches prefer to pray the Apostles’ Creed, although they do recognize the Nicene Creed. The Catholic Church alternates between them. So not even this point should be a major problem.
The presentation of the gifts likewise does not present a major obstacle to the project.
According to Tosatti, the central issue lies in the Eucharist, since the Catholic understanding of the Eucharist is profoundly different from that of the Lutherans or of other Protestant denominations. Catholics believe in Transubstantiation and the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, while Protestants believe that it is merely a memorial.
But how can a common liturgy be celebrated that clearly differs in the wording right at the most important point of the event?
Tosatti reports that a possible “solution” being proposed is that the words of Consecration be replaced by silence. It would mean that after the Sanctus, at the moment in which normally during the Mass the priest would say the words: “Father, you are holy indeed…” the different celebrants would keep silent, everyone mentally repeating “his own” formula.
The silence is broken in the congregation with the recitation of the Our Father. It is still not clear how the lines for Communion would be formed.
In light of this well-founded rumor, we should take heed of the remarks of Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio, a close collaborator of Pope Francis and currently the President of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts. The Vatican cardinal has suggested that we stop thinking of sacraments so rigidly as only either valid or invalid. For the sake of ecumenism, he opined that we should start looking into sacraments perhaps having “imperfect” or “partial” validity. Below are his exact words, as published in his exclusive interview with Edward Pentin of the National Catholic Register:
We say, everything is valid; nothing is valid. Maybe we have to reflect on this concept of validity or invalidity. The Second Vatican Council said there is a true communion [between Catholics and Protestants] even if it is not yet definitive or full. You see, they made a concept not so decisive, either all or nothing. There’s a communion that is already good, but some elements are missing. But, if you say some things are missing and that therefore there is nothing, you err. There are pieces missing, but there is already a communion, but it is not full communion. The same thing can be said, or something similar, of the validity or invalidity of ordination. I said let’s think about it. It’s a hypothesis. Maybe there is something, or maybe there’s nothing — a study, a reflection. ∎

I recall reading this somewhere as well. Both Pope Francis and Pope Benedict recommended a book called The Lord of the World by Robert Hugh Benson. It is about the coming Antichrist and how the Catholic Church will be effected. I recommend you to get it.

What are we to do if this is not just a rumor. We cannot go to mass with Protestants and take the Eucharist without being participants in something profoundly wrong. What do we do if this comes to pass. I see the majority of clergy behaving as if the Emperor has clothes-only a few within the priesthood to protest the abuse of the Lord?
You flee to where a Latin Mass is offered if possible since it is the true Mass that continues to this day without error.
Return to the Latin or Eastern rite mass!
Their are many Traditional catholic Churches not in full communion with Rome that hold valid sacraments and are valid clergy these are the true catholic churches of today. Go to them for worship. Even though Pope Francis says you must not he is in error of teaching as the true Mass has never been closed and remains the true Mass for the faithful.
Pray. Find a validly ordained priest who celebrate the TLM if possible. Make an act of perfect contrition every day, to receive forgiveness for your sins without access to a valid confessor. Pray the Rosary. And teach your children to be Catholic!

The coming abomination of desolation. A moment of silence at what is supposed to be the time of Consecration of The Holy Eucharist by the priest during the Holy Mass. Instead of pronouncing the holy words with his hands over the Sacred Host invoking The Holy Spirit, the priest remains silent with his hands folded together on the altar table and smiles wickedly at the congregation.
This is what I witnessed in body and soul in 2011 when I saw the abomination of desolation at Holy Mass and immediately fled the church building. There is no way on earth that a faithful Catholic can even step foot in a Catholic Church that ‘celebrates’ this kind of evil. This is where we, faithful Catholics, go ‘into the catacombs’. I’m sorry but we just do not participate in devil worship.

The suppression (“changing”, ecumenizing”) of the Mass was prophecied many times over the centuries. This is the abomination of desolation, and the faithful remnant will not endure it; hence, we will retreat to the catacombs, having Mass in house-churches, with priests who will be “unfrocked” by the heretical church.

I’ve always said that Bergoglio should have called himself Luther, rather than after the great and holy Saint Francis, because he’s destroying the Church rather than building it up. After reading this, I say we call him “pope Frankenstein” because he’s creating a monster!
Why are we surprised by this travesty? The Novus Ordo Mass was fabricated to achieve the same result. On December 8, 1973, the Superior Consistory of the Church of the Augsburg Confession of Alsace and Lorraine, a major Lutheran authority, publicly acknowledged their willingness to take part in the “Catholic Eucharistic celebration” because it allowed them to “use these new Eucharistic prayers with which they felt at home.” The loss of a substantial Catholic understanding of the Mass; the lex orandi, lex credendi, cannot be over-emphasized. But a question arises,why if the New Mass is acceptable to the Protestant, do members of the hierarchy wish to go even further than before in the dismantling of the Catholic liturgy? Maybe it is a Freemason plot or a modernist evolutionary desire for living changes in everything spiritual. At the end of the day, it is clearly the enemies of the one true Church that would dare advocate this milksop, this silent denial, as Catholic worship. Maybe one blessing from this wickedness could see faithful Catholics strenuously reject these innovation out of hand and begin to question all modern liturgies; though I have my doubts. My advice, if you are able, keep on attending the Traditional Mass to the point of death.

people do not understand, is that for example there is no such thing as a luthern religion, but
rather luthern religions. Every pastor is his own pope. The question should then arise, who

To silence the words of the Consecration during Mass means that Jesus is not going to leave Heaven to come to His Altar to transubstantiate the bread and wine into His Body and Blood. Why must the Catholic Church compromise the Truth with apparent ecumenical reason for the Protestant churches? The question also lies how many times has the Jesuits had their licence to teach theology revoked by Popes. Even the late pope John Paul II and Pope Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI suspended the Jesuits licence to teach theology several times.
